Inteserv Global Database - global Asset Management and Service application

FMC Technologies, Inc. is a global leader in mission-critical technology solutions for the energy, food processing and air transportation industries.  Blue Ink designed, developed and deployed a multi-national enterprise level web based application for the Fluid Controls Division of FMC Technologies.  This application provides the inventory management and service scheduling for all of the FMC customers world-wide.  This web based application interfaces with physical inspection equipment in the field to automate the data acquisition and transmission to the central servers.  The application supports custom interfaces for FMC customers to use to view details about their own inventory and provides delegated user management to each customer's administrator (customers can manage their own users).  The application will run in both on-line (connected to the internet) and off-line (disconnected from the internet) modes to facilitate both "brick and mortar" and mobile based service units.  The application supports a robust reporting engine that will generate reports in multiple formats including: PDF, Excel, Word, HTML, and TIFF (for document imaging).
