EdView - educational search engine at Apple  

From the instigation of the design to the web farm deployment, Blue Ink designed and delivered Apple's iTools for Education suite of applications.  This project included much more than the website that viewers see on Apple's corporate site. Features such as load balanced database servers, application servers, and web servers all work in concert.  Moreover, Blue Ink created an entire suite of administration applications to support and develop this Internet search engine.  Likewise, we created not only the search engine, but also client software for both the Mac and PC platform that leverages the search engine, enabling it to also act as a security server.  As such, it is being marketed to schools nationwide to provide secure, organized web surfing to students from grade school to high school.  From concept to launch, Blue Ink provided design, development, and integration of the EdView project.
